Since My Ekman completed her studies at the Royal College of Art in Stockholm 2000, she has preferred to work with site-specific installations in public spaces and with graphics in various editions. This comes from a need to be involved in the world, process it and leave a trail. With the installation as a work tool, the world is deconstructed and joined by elements from the site to a new experience. In this way, she makes her works available to the public. The central element of the works is color and material and its use for expressing and reinforcing moods
